Gooseneck kettle
A kettle with a long, narrow, curved spout that pours a slow, precise stream of water.
The narrow spout gives fine control over where and how fast water lands, which suits pour-over brewing. Many gooseneck kettles also offer variable temperature control.
For immersion methods like French press or AeroPress, the precise pour is less important.
Why it matters for small spaces
A gooseneck is worth the counter space mainly if you brew pour-over; for other small-space methods, a normal kettle is fine.
