Compact Coffee Lab exists to help UK readers build good coffee setups in small spaces. To keep that trustworthy, we follow a few firm rules.

Products are verified on Amazon UK before publication

We only publish a product after checking it live on Amazon.co.uk and recording its details and the date we verified it. If we can't verify a product, we don't list it — and we never invent or use placeholder products.

We don't show prices

Amazon prices change constantly. Rather than display a figure that may be wrong by the time you read it, we link you to the live Amazon UK page so you always see the current price.

We don't show ratings or review counts

We don't display star ratings, review counts, bestseller badges, Prime status, stock levels or delivery estimates unless we can source them through a compliant, Amazon-approved method. Until then, we leave them off rather than show numbers we can't stand behind.

We don't claim to have tested what we haven't

We only say a product was personally tested if it genuinely was. For the current version of the site, nothing is marked as personally tested. Our recommendations are based on researching specifications, design and suitability for small spaces — and we tell you that plainly.

We write for small spaces

Our advice is weighted towards footprint, storage, noise and cleanup — the things that actually matter in a flat, a rented kitchen or a small office, not just raw performance.
